Could this be Honda's CR-Z in production form?

Well, don't know where Mr. Burlapp dug this up (he's always been great at finding stuff like this), but it's interesting none the less. Looks a lot like the Honda S3000 that was to be proposed to replace the S2000. If anything, I think it could be what the CR-Z could end up looking like in it's (close to) production form, although Honda has squashed any ideas of a convertible CR-Z last I heard.

Japanese Honda Odyssey Spotted Tested in CA

The above cell phone image of a JDM Honda Odyssey was spotted in Palos Verdes, CA recently. The car was wearing "3421" manufacturer license plates, which apparently Honda uses.
This is a older post from Edmunds.

Well this is a interesting development, I have been under the full impression that it would be the Honda Stream that would make its way to the North American market. Now, that's not to say that Honda is testing this vehicle for this market, they could be doing weather condition tests. Only time will tell.

New Acura? Crossover Spied

"We caught engineers from Honda or Acura night-testing a brand new prototype for what appears to be a sport-crossover model aimed at the likes of the Infiniti FX35 and BMW's X6. The new prototype was tested under cover of darkness in the California desert to thwart spy photographers, but we managed to get a series of revealing shots of the fairly low-slung crossover—as engineers fired back at us with lights of their own.
Through the camouflage, the prototype appears to show some styling cues that appear more upscale Acura than Honda—especially the chunky exhaust tips molded into the rear bumper. The windshield is steeply raked, and the roofline appears to slope downward in the manner of today's "four-door coupes." The camouflage goes to some lengths to try to hide the roof's true shape, but the squared-off backlight is certainly a fake, and there also appears to be ample camouflage inside the rear seat area to further obscure the prototype's sihouette. The headlights glowing through the front camouflage appear to be very angular and slit-like, mimicking the face of the latest Acura models.
The prototype's dimensions look quite tidy, which should bode well for the new crossover's efficiency, as well as its sport-minded driving dynamics. The aggressive wheel-and-tire package on this test vehicle looks more appropriate for canyon carving than for off-road pursuits.
The timing of this model is unknown, but Acura TL prototypes that were first night-tested this time last year are just now going public. If that schedule holds true for this model, BMW and Infiniti might have another competitor in the performance utility sector on the horizon in about 12 months."

Next Gen Honda/Acura NSX Spied

Honda was hardly going to leave Nissan and Toyota to steal all the thunder in the supercar market as they look to provide some serious competition with its new NSX. Previously we had only seen prototypes of the new model sporting the body of the S2000, but now for the first time the model has come out showing its new body styling albeit with the annoying black and white camoflage.

Unlike the previous mid-engined NSX this prototype is running a front-mid engine, with its powerplant placed well behind the front wheels to ensure excellent weight distribution. This should also allow the new NSX to offer 2+2 cabin accommodation, broadening its appeal against the Nissan GT-R and Lexus LF-A - particularly in the USA.

What that engine is remains very much a mystery. There’s talk of a high-revving naturally aspirated V10, which would fit in very comfortably with Honda’s Type R philosophy. Honda’s not as obsessed as many by big horsepower outputs, but even so an output of 450 hp seems likely. Should such an engine be fitted to the sort of lightweight body as the previous NSX, the performance would be exceptional. Four-wheel-drive, with rearward bias, is also rumoured, the handling expected to be controlled by a version of Honda’s electronic Super Handling All-Wheel Drive.

The Honda NSX is not expected until 2009 and on top of its Japanese rivals it must also compete with the likes of the Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari F430 and the Lamborghini Gallardo.

Ever Wonder What a Sedan FIT Might Look Like? Here's the Honda CITY.

This vehicle is not sold in North America, but competes directly with the Yaris Sedan in other countries. The pictures above are of the upcoming model change, whereas the bottom pic is the outgoing model. Anyway, not sure we'll ever see this car here in North America, and I can't say that there wouldn't be alot of self-cannibalisation if it ever did come here (ie: would eat into the existing FIT and Civic sales, just like the Yaris does to the Corolla). Anyway, just thought I'd bring it forward for those interested.

2009 Honda Pilot Interior pic

The shifter is now located on the dash as opposed to on the steering column which is just more of an update than anything. I am glad that Honda didn't put the shifter in the middle console like alot of other vehicles, this leaves the Pilot with a full middle console. The Pilot also finally gets dual zone climate control and a auto day/night mirror.
I wonder if the Pilot will get the same rear view mirror with the backup camera as the odyssey like below.
The interior looks great so far.

More Shots of the 2009 Honda Pilot from Autoblog.com

One this last photo, it's nice to see dual exhaust finally make it's way to the Pilot.

2009 Honda Pilot; What to Expect.

A bigger engine is rumoured to be entering the fray, it's current 3.5L V6 should be replaced by a 3.8L (or 3.7L) V6. Expect Variable Cylinder Management on all models (shuts down from 6-4-3 cylinders) like the new Accord. An increase in horsepower will go without saying, I expect 270hp or so, up from the current 244hp. You can expect to see Dual Zone Climate Control and a power passenger seat, probably for Leather models only. Blue Tooth will make it's entry, again, if the new Accord is any indication, on Leather models only.

The big news will be a Diesel engine option. Honda rumours state that the Diesel engine will be introduced for 2009, however I am thinking it will be introduced a little later. Who knows.

As far as style goes, I expect a more urban look (sleaker lines), not so 'truck-like' (box-like).
The current model is still an outstanding choice and rates at or near the top in every catagory, so don't count it out just yet!
