Honda CR-Z MUGEN RR Concept Revealed in Goodwood

 Honda CR-Z MUGEN RR Concept

Honda has revealed Honda CR-Z MUGEN RR Concept car in Goodwood Festival of Speed in the past weekend. This Honda CR-Z MUGEN RR Concept desgin study  model is only focoused on the race version.

The features of Honda CR-Z MUGEN RR Concept : Aerodynamic design body kit including a front and rear bumper,wider front fenders,Side Spoilers,rear wings and a set of special designed racing 18"inch alloy-wheels.

Honda CR-Z MUGEN RR Concept is boosted with a 1.5-liter supercharged hybrid engine with an output power of 197HP horsepower and a 181 lb-ft (245Nm) of torque.
Acceleration : 0 - 60mph [96km/h] takes around 6.6 second.

Honda CR-Z Mugen Concept Prototype [Test video]

Honda CR-Z Mugen Concept Prototype
Honda the Japanese automaker has made a Prototype model of upcoming car i.e., Honda CR-Z Mugen Concept and decided to release the video of Prototype Supercharged hybride Honda CR-Z Mugen Concept car.

This Supercharged Hybrid Honda CR-Z Mugen Concept car is boosted with 1.5liters supercharged i-VTEC Petrol engine with an output of 122HP Horsepower, the supercharged model should flirt with the 200HP 181lb-ft.

Performance tests with a prototype car based mostly on a customary CR-Z and a mid-tune engine have given 0-60mph times around that of the Civic type R,’ says the blurb issued overnight feels like 0-60mph in around 6.6sec then.

Could this be Honda's CR-Z in production form?

Well, don't know where Mr. Burlapp dug this up (he's always been great at finding stuff like this), but it's interesting none the less. Looks a lot like the Honda S3000 that was to be proposed to replace the S2000. If anything, I think it could be what the CR-Z could end up looking like in it's (close to) production form, although Honda has squashed any ideas of a convertible CR-Z last I heard.
