The American automaker has come with a Next Generation SSC car .i.e, SSC Tuatara. And this car is desgined by Jason Castriota.
SSC Tuatara is boosted with a 7.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine with a n delivering output power of 1.350HP horsepower which is supplied to the rear wheels through a 7-Speed manual gear-box [or] (7-Speed SMG Paddle Shift sequential automatic transmission system) Optional. The car structure uses lightweight materials like carbon fiber and aluminum.

The SSC [Sheldby Super Car] Tuatara has not yet released any performance results.

At present the fastest car's are :
SCC Ultimate Aero TT with 1,183HP which recorded a top speed of 257mph [413 km/h] and it is Veyron Super Sport with 1,200HP which recorded a top speed of258 mph [415 km/h].

The Thrust SSC is the current holder of the landspeed record with a speed of 1 228 km/h (763 mph). The Thrust SSC (Super Sonic Car) was the first land vehicle to successfully break the sound barrier. The Thrust features two turbojet engines that enable it to reach such speeds. Thrust SSC broke the record on October 15, 1997 at Black Rock Desert in Nevada.

On the picture above you can see the shock waves as it breaks the sound barrier!
