Honda To Construct Jazz Subcompact In UK From 2009

This is NOT the vehicle that they are talking about, this was an older rendering of the Insight.

Honda Motor Co Ltd has made announcement that the company will soon begin constructing the new variant of the popular Jazz subcompact at its factory in Britain coming fiscal, to meet the mounting demand for fuel-efficient cars in Europe.

The company has unveiled the new Jazz, called Fit in some markets, at the Paris auto show.

The Jazz sold in Europe is presently imported from Japan and China.

Honda CEO Takeo Fukui also rolled out Insight, its new low-cost hybrid, that would achieve fuel-efficiency similar to the Civic hyrbrid but at a "significantly reduced price."
