Lamborghini

lamborghini Murcielago

lamborghini Murcielago

  lamborghini Murcielago
is a high-performance two-door, two-seat sports car that was produced by  Italian automaker Lamborghini  between 2001 and 2010. Often referred to  as a supercar, it was the flagship of the automaker's lineup. The  Murci
lago was introduced as a coup in 2001 for the 2002 model year,  succeeding the famed Diablo supercar in Lamborghini's lineup. The car  was the automaker's first new design in eleven years, as well as the  first under the ownership of German automaker VW. It was styled by  Peruvian-born Belgian Luc Donckerwolke, Lamborghini's head of design  from 1998.

Upper-Class Cars

 Ferrari Xezri
The young designer from Azerbaijan attempted to reduce weight through extensive use of carbon-fibre on both the exterior and interior. He wanted his design to be seen as, “very original, elegant, pure, modern, simple,” as well as, “dynamic” and, “lightweight, simple and striking”.
Like Rolls-Royce’s Spirit of Ecstasy, the Xezri is, “supposed to look like beauty fluttering in the wind”.

Unique features abound, like the centrally-mounted F1 / jet fighter inspired cockpit with room for only the driver and twin touch-screens in place of wing mirrors and analogue buttons / switches.
There are also two horizontally mounted air propellers that generate electrical power for the interior and gauges when the Xezri is on the move. And that great silver wing, that dominates the design’s top-down view, doubles as both an air intake and an adjustable aerodynamic spoiler.
It is truly an inspired design, and one of the best Sadikhov has produced so far. I think it would be best to leave you with his summary of the design:
“Xezri [is] designed for [the] owner for whom the priority is on uncompromising on-road performance [and] occasional track day capability, but who still demand a car that is useable in day-to-day driving like all Ferrari’s models.”

Sadikhov explains that Xezri was named after, “a local wind which is in the western part of Caspian sea,” and that it exemplifies an innovative, high-technology solution to the needs of a lightweight car for both the road and track.

It is, he says, “a synthesis of its technological knowledge and its sporting experience,” that embodies, “the quintessence of Ferrari past and present and looks to the Ferrari of the future”.
Sadikhov’s main focus in the design was on increasing downforce through aerodynamics, the deletion of wing mirrors and other drag-inducing components, a flat underbody and deformingaerolastic winglets inspired by the Ferrari 458 Italia.

2012 VW Beetle by ABT

The noted VW Group tuner said it is still working on the performance upgrades for the latest Beetle, which won’t arrive in customer hands until September, but it can give us an idea of what to expect based on its current offerings.
ABT will offer performance kits for the entire engine lineup in Europe with the modified 1.2 TSI petrol estimated to deliver around 140HP, up from 105HP, the 1.4 TSI petrol about 210HP, up from 160HP, while the flagship 2.0 TSI petrol is said to produce close to 240HP, up from the factory model’s 200HP.

On the outside, ABT is preparing several packages such as an aero kit comprising of a front spoiler, a rear apron incorporating a diffuser, a large rear wing and side skirts along with unique tail pipes, special paint jobs, headlamps and tail light covers, and carbon fiber accessories.
More detailed information on ABT’s offerings for the new 2012 VW Beetle will be released at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Audi Q3 RS

The brand with the four rings has even decided on the powertrain, which is none other than the 340HP 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five found under the hood of the TT RS and RS3 hot hatch.Power of course would be transferred to all four wheels through Audi’s quattro system and a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission. These yet to be officially confirmed rumors have lead photoshop resident L il k Amaru to use his talent on the creation of two renderings depicting the possible styling of the Q3 RS.The artist’s proposal includes all the usual design cues of Audi’s RS models such as the prominent front bumper with a honeycomb grille, side skirts, five-spoke alloy wheels, aluminum trim accents and a rear apron with a diffuser.

Koenigsegg CCX

Koenigsegg CCX

Koenigsegg CCX

A standard Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 that delivers a total of 505 HP, which isn’t bad at all. Of course, supercharging this bad boy to an impressive 700 HP makes the American sports coupe jump a few levels to possibly match wits with Sweden’s Koenigsegg CCXR and its 1024 HP 4.7 L twin-supercharged V8 engine.

Place these two cars side by side in a one mile drag race and more than likely, onlookers would place their bets on the Koenigsegg CCX. Before that happens, however, it’s important to know that typically the Koenigsegg CCX does the 1/4 mile in less than 11 seconds and in this video, it only managed to do it in 12.4 seconds. Will the driver factor affect the outcome of the race? Watch the video to find out!

Koenigsegg CCX

Koenigsegg CCX We’d love to have the opportunity to purchase a supercar out of what seems to be sheer boredom and then let it sit in our garage because we are too busy driving around in all of our other fantastic cars. It may seem like an unbelievable scenario, but we come across it all of the time. Our latest supercar abandonment comes as a Koenigsegg CCX that was purchased back in 2008 for about $650,000. The car is based on the first U.S. spec Koenigsegg CCX imported into the US and is largely constructed of carbon fiber weighing in at just 2,600lbs. The owner of this vehicle didn’t even bother taking off the factory window sticker from his princely purchase. The Koenigsegg CCX is said to have very few miles on it, with most of them attributed to the post-production tests. Seriously? Are they kidding?
And it gets even better. The standard Koenigsegg CCX is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine that delivers 806 HP, but when the supercar was handed over to Scottsdale Ferrari, they decided to tinker around with the barely used machine and got it to produce 980hp! Now with this added power, this phenomenal black on black Koenigsegg CCX is set up with a price tag of $1,150,000 because, well, Scottsdale Ferrari assumes they can turn it over for that kind of crazy profit. If this were a cartoon, the head honchos at Scottsdale Ferrari would have large dollar signs in their eyes every time they looked at this vehicle.

Some supercar videos really don’t need a whole lot of introduction. This is one of them. So in the briefest of ways to describe it, here’s aKoenigsegg CCXR that was captured driving through a tunnel in all its roaring, spine-tingling glory.
If you’re a fan of supercars roaring through enclosed spaces, then this video will absolutely make your day. There aren’t a lot of supercars that have the cache of a Koenigsegg CCXR. The first part of the video will treat you to the sound of the Koenigsegg CCXR’s power as it roars along a tunnel. Incredibly enough, towards the latter part of the video, the camera finds its way inside the Koenigsegg CCXR where you can hear its unbridled roar even more.
So turn up the volume and put your seats in their upright position, fellas. The sound of this Koenigsegg CCXR inside this tunnel is going to knock your socks off into tomorrow.
While Conan O’Brien continues to display loving affection towards his beat-up 1992 Ford Taurus SHO, his one-time colleague and now fierce rival, Jay Leno just keeps on adding to his already massive car collection.
The latest vehicle to make its way to Jay Leno’s oversized garage is a Koenigsegg CCX after Christian von Koenigsegg CCX himself - yes, he’s the founder of the supercar brand - paid a visit to Leno in the comedian’s South California home to personally deliver a Koenigsegg Trevita CCXR.
Next to the 2010 Agera, Koenigsegg CCX also revealed a new special edition at the Geneva Motor Show. Limited to only one unit and built for a wealthy customer in Brazil, the Koenigsegg CCXR Platinuss E100 (named after a Brazilian dealership) had to be customized so it could use bio-ethanol.
But despite the modifications the Koenigsegg CCXR Platinuss E100 still develops 1018 hp. The customer also wanted a larger front splitter and the color has been custom painted.
